What started as just another drawing of a winged devil swigging out of a bottle of “Jorge” Daniels (and admittedly dressed a bit like Depeche Mode — total coincidence) spiraled out of control when I realized that Voting Day and Dia de los Muertos happen to fall on the same day. I threw in a couple of campaign posters. I crafted an optimistic and memorable political slogan. I thought about conveying my awesome slogan idea to both Charlie Baker and Gov. Patrick, but couldn’t find a way to make the image seem as non-threatening as I actually intend it to be. If I got this in the mail, I’d have me arrested too.
The brick facade was shot in West Roxbury, Massachusetts. It’s a beautiful abandoned industrial building on Amory Street, off of Washington. Check it out here.
